A 69 year old born again Christian who has been active in a variety of churches for 47 years. He has been a pastor of three churches for a total of 11 of those years. He has 4 year BS degree in civil engineering from University of Mississippi. Also has 2 years of post graduate education from Moody Bible Institute and Hyles Anderson College. Observing Christians in America in the past few years has given him cause to worry about our collective spiritual state. One disturbing trend is the lack of knowledge of Bible truth. He's concerned that we as a people will perish for lack of that knowledge. It seems that only a small minority of church-going Americans have read the Bible through even once. This makes us vulnerable to every wind of doctrine that blows across our land. He says he's not an expert on the Bible, and that he's certainly not an expert sociologist. But he does enjoy trying to present the Bible in a simple and enjoyable way. It has always been enjoyable to him, even after having read it through 28 times to date. Bible preaching and teaching have been a part of his life for over 30 years. He is the second of ten children. His father was Ray Stieffel, Jr., who has also published his book, The Fantastic Muse and Other Stories , through iUniverse. He has admired his writing since he was a child and has always wanted to be a writer like him. This desire finally connected with his spiritual concerns and resulted in Health and Wealth: God’s Will or Not? He's a widower and lives in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. He enjoys the water and loves sailing. Currently attending First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. He worked a dual career for a number of years as an engineer and a pastor. Still working full time. The only problem is trying to design a business card for that.
